U.S. National High School Championships

about the event ...

Purpose: JUNIOR TEAM U.S.A. national team qualifier. Winners earn a spot on the team, and become eligible for goodwill tours abroad and international competition. Also encourages curricular development of High School racquetball (an overall "Team Championship" trophy is also awarded).

  • Established: 1988
  • Frequency: Annual (In March)
  • Entrants: 200 - 300
  • Eligibility: Entrants must be USRA members and full-time high school students. Must comply with junior "code of conduct" during competition.
  • Awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze in Boy's & Girl's divisions, plus team trophy. Red, White, Blue consolation division awards.
  • Judging: Preliminary seeding, followed by single elimination in championships rounds and "Olympic Format" satellite draw for consolations.
  • Conditions: USRA rules govern, including mandatory protective eyewear requirement.
