The 2003 Tournament of the Americas will be played in the Dominican Republic, and has been designated as a test event for the Pan American Games to be held this coming August. The local organizing committee is working overtime to have the new eight-court facility finished for this test event, but at this moment it does not seem likely that it will be complete. Therefore, the TOA will be held at the beautiful Santo Domingo Country Club, which hosted a major event in November and the Central American Caribbean Games.

The facility has two excellent courts and opens onto a beautiful swimming pool area, but the limited number of courts will require that only the Open Team competition be scheduled. If the new courts are ready, additional divisions may be accommodated. This decision was made in order to support continued growth in this hemisphere, amongst the National Olympic Committees, and to keep racquetball in the Pan American Games in 2007. This TOA has taken on a tremendous importance as we continue to showcase our Sport to the Olympic Committees in this hemisphere.

National team entries by country will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; once the 12 available slots are filled, no more teams will be fielded. Entries and rosters must be submitted as soon as possible to insure that they can be accommodated. DEADLINE: Tuesday, April 8.
